JSC held a workshop from 11/08 to 11/11 in Sihanoukville. There were 81 people from the branch office of Phnom Penh, Battambang, Banteay Prieb, Svay Sisophon, Siem Reap and Kampong Thom.
Staff members of these centers have very little chance of meeting each other during the year. So a workshop is held once a year. It offers them a nice chance to meet each other, have a good lecture and rest. The time schedule was : one day meeting and one day for rest.

On the first day, JSC members had a dinner where they could catch up on what they had been doing since they’d last met. The next morning after breakfast, all the members came for a lecture : integrity in doing our mission, Fraud and corruption.’ It is a difficult subject, but through working in groups they could find answers to the questions, which proceeded in a friendly atmosphere from the beginning to the end.
At the end of the group presentations, Fr.Gabby explained about each JSC department and warned about the dangers of using plastic. The last event of 2nd day was a ceremony for some employees for their twenty-five tears service. We prepared an appreciation plaque and a small gift in gratitude for what the had done. Delicious dinner and dancing followed.
At the end of our workshop, we had time to head for the beach and do some swimming. Unobstructed views of the sea made us refresh our mind.

For about 3 days, we stayed, studied and relaxed together in this beautiful place with great happiness. We then waved goodbye to each other and regretted any inconvenience caused.
